Road Trip Sunday: Big Hill Springs Provincial & Cochrane

the summer 2014 staycation continues...

yesterday we piled in the car nice and early and headed out to big hill springs provincial park for another family hike.  surrounded by waterfalls, bridges and beautiful scenery all around, it was the perfect way to spend our sunday morning.

of course being that we needed to drive through cochrane to get to our hike meant that on the way home  we were required (yes, required) to stop off and get ice cream from mackays followed by a patio brunch.
